Eight preamps and summing mixer available for use in Studio A
Orange County-based recording studios and soundstage, Hybrid Studios, bolstered their gear collection last week with the addition of eight BAE 1073 10-series modules. The renowned preamp and eq, complete with summing mixer, are featured amongst the outboard collection in Studio A and available for use immediately by all Hybrid recording studio clients.
“These high-end modules provide a warm and smooth sonic flavor to Studio A, and I think our production clientele are going to be thrilled with their quality and sound.” said Hybrid co-founder Billy Klein, “We’ve been wanting to add more BAE equipment to our gear collection for some time now.”
Authentic reproductions of vintage Neve 1073 console modules, the BAE modules feature the same design, transformers, and circuitry as the originals of which they are based. The modules are hand-wired and soldered to ensure quality across the board and deliver a fat sound with huge bottom end while smoothing out top end for a distinct sound that engineers have loved for decades. They are a welcome addition to Hybrid’s growing collection of analog gear.
