OC Studio integrates Digital Audio Labs LiveMix system into Studio A
Orange County recording studios and soundstage, Hybrid Studios, has introduced a new headphone system into Studio A. The LiveMix Personal Monitor System coming to Hybrid features an AD-24 Analog Input, a MIX-16 Central Mixer, four CS-DUO Personal Mixers, and two CS-SOLO Personal Mixers.
“We decided recently that it was time we upgraded our headphone system,” said Hybrid Studios Co-founder Billy Klein, “The LiveMix system gives our talented client roster even more flexibility while also providing a simpler, time-saving, and more straight-forward interface.”
Channel names on the LiveMix system are global, which allows you to name the channels on your personal mixer and allow them to be visible on all the LiveMix personal mixers in the system. Additionally for added convenience each of the personal mixers features both a 1/4” and 1/8” output. It also has a robust, new feature called “MirrorMix” that allows you to hear and make changes to other personal mixes in the system remotely. This allows more experienced users to aid others when necessary and is a great tool for a studio engineer in a control room.
