New album recorded at Hybrid Studios by Cameron Rae and Joshua Brooks
The Puscie Jones Revue are set to release their new album ‘The Pursuit’ on October 27that The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood. The album was produced and engineered this summer by Cameron Rae and Joshua Brooks at Hybrid Studios in Santa Ana. Known for their electrifying live performances and great Funk/Soul music, the band has quickly gained a rabid following across Los Angeles and Orange County.
“Recording the album with this incredible group of funky individuals was a blessing as an engineer and producer,” said Cameron Rae, “The goal of the album was to take their live show and capture it in the studio, so we tracked live. The band vibes very well together, and I feel the live sound was captured accurately.”
Joshua Brooks added, “The Puscie Jones Revue is loaded with talented musicians so everything on the production end was a lot of fun. We wanted to bring back Funk with a twist of modern production value and we had a blast achieving that.”
The band’s latest single Jones’nwas released on October 5thand is available now on iTunes or Spotify. Following their album release show in Hollywood, you can catch The Puscie Jones Revue at their Halloween show, October 31stat the Wayfarer in Costa Mesa. Then they leave for tour in November, heading up the west coast and playing all over central U.S.A.
