OC Studio to award studio time to music competition winners for second consecutive year
Orange County recording studios and soundstage, Hybrid Studios will be sponsoring the 2019 Unsigned Only music competition. The same team that put together the distinguished International Songwriting Competition (ISC), Unsigned Only brings an innovative and unique spin to music competitions. High-level industry artists and executives judge the competition aimed at unsigned artists and bands. 2019 judges include Aimee Mann, Garth Hudson (The Band), Grouplove, Taj Mahal, Sanctus Real, BØRNS, Robert Smith (The Cure), The Secret Sisters, Boney James, Bow Wow, and many more.
“Unsigned Only is a fantastic competition that focuses on undiscovered talent,” said Hybrid Studios Co-founder Billy Klein, “We’re thrilled to be working with them for a second year running, and we know whoever wins will bring a ton of talent into the studio with them.”
The Grand Prize Winner will be awarded $20,000 in cash (plus additional prizes) and one-on-one mentoring by a world-class group of record company executives. First and second place winners will also be selected across thirteen categories, and as part of the prize packages, the Grand Prize and Triple Play special promotion winners will both be awarded with studio time to be used at Hybrid Studios.
