New Christmas album produced by Marco Palos and Tom Brooks at Capitol Studios and Hybrid Studios
Phat Cat Swinger has released From: All of Us To: All of You (The Phat Cat Swinger Christmas Album). The new album from Los Angeles’ “Little-Big Band” was produced by Marco Palos and Tom Brooks at Capitol Studios in Hollywood and Santa Ana’s Hybrid Studios. The band performs the album’s songs nightly at Disney California Adventure for the Disney Festival of Holidays.
“It took us 15 years to be sure that we were absolutely ready to send a new Christmas album out to the world,” says Marco Palos on the band’s website, “It started with us developing a show that we would perform at a well-known theme park in Orange County. After 34 performances and trying this out in front of thousands over the course of 9 weeks, we felt it was time to take it into the studio… Our vision included bringing together many of our favorite voices and friends on one album that represent the music of today. Not the music you listen to on the radio, but the music that plays in the clubs, on tours, theaters, or even some of the best unknown places in any city. Each of our guest singers, to us, are the true voices and faces of live music today.”
Phat Cat Swinger has been featured in videos with Christina Aguilera (Candyman), The Jonas Brothers (Love Bug) and Snow Patrol (In The End). They were also selected among California’s best Big Bands by JJ Abrams to perform for his company, Bad Robot Productions.
You can catch Phat Cat Swinger’s Christmas show until January 8th, 2019 at the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure. Show times vary, but they’re always in the evening, and schedules are available at the Disney Festival of Holiday kiosks within the park.
